Religion Roadie

The Butcher is up to something this month, which involves him actually having to go to class every Tuesday and learning how to work a television camera. Tonight he came home and reported that he had been accused of "knowing what he was doing" because he knew how to roll cords. "No," he said, "My dad is a minister, and I just get roped into this kind of stuff." To which someone replied, "Oh, a religion roadie."

When the Sheik was a troubled teenager he was sent to see the uncle who fixes people. My uncle was making some video (among other things, he's a motivational speaker), but the camera guy was out sick, so my brother filled in. Apparently, he did a great job. Mom & Dad were thrilled, thinking that he might have found something to direct his life. Well they were wrong, but they should have known that the high cost of drungs was enough to motivate him to get and keep a decent job.
Maybe the Butcher has found something fun that could pay. Of course, maybe he's just trying to learn a few things to make his videos of his art projects better.

Now if there was only a way to make the ability to rapidly pick up all those little communion cups useful. Beyond the purpose of rapidly picking them up.
