Tante B. Tells You What Makes Her Happy Today!
- Someone hung a string of stars over my office door.
- The book I have been waiting on has finally arrived and, surprise, another book arrived as well. Yes, I sniffed them. No, I'm not ashamed of it. If you don't like that new book smell, you have no soul.
- I have invented a new book dance. I danced said dance.
- The Professor took me to lunch.
- No other good reasons. Just glad it's Friday and that the world needs nothing more from me today.

New book smell rules! As does new book feel. I love to run my hands all over them when I first get them, before they get all worn down with handling.
Unfortunately, I can't buy anymore new books until we move again, because I already bought a couple dozen books this year. Just a couple more months!
There is a lot to be said for "musty 50 year-old paperback you ordered through Alibris" smell as well.
I smell everything. Books, CDs, everything. Happy Friday! I'll dance to that:)
