My Evening

First, my hair turned out awesome. I pulled it up into a French twist, but didn't tuck in the top part, so it was all swept up with these curly little rings at the top. I kind of want to sleep propped up in a chair and just wear it like this until it starts to smell bad. It looks that cute. The dollar pantyhose I got at Walmart were worth just about that. They started bagging about a half hour in. I didn't talk about my tits at all, though, during a slow part, I'll admit I did look down and once again marvel at how nice they look in my green dress, at least from my perspective. And a couple of male students said 'hello' to me appreciatively, so I think I was rocking the cuteness pretty hard. I've already identified one demographic of men who find me irresistible--the AARP set. I may have identified another. If only I can find an old folks' home for Fisk graduates, I will be the belle of the ball constantly. Anyway, the program itself was really nice. The Fisk Jubilee singers sang two songs that Dr. John Work had arranged and then Jack Pearson and William Howse did two Muddy Waters songs and a third song they composed themselves. Then there was a panel discussion and a reception with good snacks. The Professor and I were going to go out to eat with some of the panelists, but I bowed out to come home and get these shoes off. Let's face it: as cute as my hair looks tonight, it's too much work--all the twisting and tugging and make-up-ing and high-heel-ing--this girly shit. I'll give props to the girls who do it every day, but it's not for me.

Hm, was there a B3 (organ) player playing with jack pearson? If so, it was my dad.

No organ player. Just harmonica and guitar.
