The Sheriff around these here parts
Isn't that weird? I wonder if folks from the Sheriff's department drive around town gazing enviously upon the Metro Police, missing the days when they also had the power to carry a gun?
Is there anything funnier than tiny cat pants?
It seems unlikely, but my goal in life is to find out.

So...inmates are going to pick up your couch? I think you can add that one to your list of movies. I think it is a wacky comedy that results in much hilarity with a group of lovable misfit inmates (why am I only seeing them in the black and white old fashioned uniforms?) and a gallant, courtly sheriff who opens the movie by coming to your door and saying, "Ma'am, we hear you've got a couch round these here parts that needs removin'." I don't know why he talks like the old west when this takes place in present day Davidson county.
I bet they still carry guns. I mean, what if one of the inmates makes a break for a new life, compete with new furniture?
Ohh...maybe that could happen and there could be a touching recovery where the inmate realizes the errors of his/her ways but is still determined to escape...but why? Why? And the mysterious reason is so shocking I can't tell you here...not because I just don't know what it is.
Or it could all be a real boring episode of cops. But I prefer the craptastic movie treatment.

Clearly, the inmate falls in love with the owner of the couch because the piles of dog and cat hair trapped in the couch lead him to deduce that she is an animal lover, much as himself, seeing that he is in jail for letting his beloved hound-dog "Boo Radley" drive his truck, like in those commercials.
I was picturing a romantic something with the sheriff (authority figures with handcuffs, anyone?) but maybe the sheriff could have something with another character.
But, I would not want to deprive you of your inmate fantasies AND then we get to draw in the reality of the animal hair on the couch.
Of course, maybe this is more of a family movie and the sheriff has a wholesome, intellegent wife. But where's the fun in that?
No, I don't work for Harlequin or Hustler - SuperGenius
Also, Boo Radley is an awesome name for a hound dog.
